Montreal native, Jonathan Rosner, is on the cutting edge of the industry with a top-ranked spot at the Canadian 2011 Boss Loop Competition, plays a unique and innovative style called “pop slap”, and helps other talented musicians expand their career. He has been seen on CTV television network, has a full-length album in stores across Canada, and has been featured on custom-made Basone Guitars website.

Jon started his career at an early age, learning how to play guitar at ten, accompanying jazz ensembles at thirteen, and teaching privately at eighteen while studying classical guitar with internationally renowned Patrick Kearney at Vanier College. Now, he contributes as music director, teacher, judge, competitor, arranger, and composer, either for artist’s projects, or for his own. Over recent years, Jon has played in major cities in Eastern, Central and Western Canada: Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver; as well as in smaller towns in Quebec and Ontario: Sherbrooke, Boucherville, Repentigny, Quebec City, and Madoc.

If needed Rosner has a  song repertoire which includes Top 40 Hits from artists such as Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys, and Rihanna; and jazz standards such as Georgia, Speak Softly Love, and Autumn Leaves. Venue types range from hotel lounges, to halls, and to municipal parks (Fairmount Hotels, Les Rythmes Tremblant, Festiblues, House of Jazz, etc.)
